Life Goes On! Angelina Jolie Returns To LA After Dropping Maddox Off At College

Angelina Jolie has returned to life in Los Angeles following Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s emotional drop-off to college.

The Maleficent actress, 44, was spotted leaving a sushi park restaurant in West Hollywood with son Pax Jolie-Pitt after RadarOnline.com reported she was heartbroken over her eldest child leaving the nest.

As fans know, Angelina’s eldest son Maddox, 18, made the decision to attend Yonsei University in South Korea where it was reported he will study biochemistry.

Her realization that her golden boy was finally leaving her home triggered mood swings and feelings of helplessness in the actress.

She celebrated his 18th birthday with him at a Cleveland brewery in Ohio earlier this month and just a few days ago, was forced to muster up her feelings and officially send him off to college.

In a video of her leaving him at the dorms, she candidly told the crowd, “I know, I’m trying not to cry,” but also shared the beginning of his next chapter is “really exciting.”

Angelina's tight bond with Maddox has long been reported by Radar.

After the star witnessed a nasty fight between Maddox and dad Brad Pitt on a private plane in 2016, Angelina filed for divorce from the actor, calling him an abusive father. Ever since, Maddox has been both the man of the house and Angelina’s shoulder to lean on.

“It won’t be long before Pax follows Maddox into college, then Zahara will be gone, and Shiloh is highly likely to move in with Brad full-time at some point,” an insider told Radar. “That’ll leave her alone with the twins, who are also spending more and more time with Brad.”
