The security guards hired to work at Travis Scott’s Astroworld claim they haven’t even been paid for their work.

News Nation Now reporter Brian Entin spoke to a young man named Jackson Bush who worked at the Houston festival over the weekend.

He told Entin the organizers failed to prepare him for the event and didn’t share any security plan with him before the show.

“I believe if we were all prepared the right way, that stuff would not have happened the way it did. Honestly, even with the amount of people that passed and went unconscious … the amount of injuries could have been avoided,” he said.

The Astroworld job paid $17 per hour and the money was to be paid through Cash App not a check.

The man told Entin he has yet to receive a dime from the organizers. His uncle, who was caught up in the stampede, is dealing with a broken hand from the event.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the event planner submitted a 50-page plan ahead of Astroworld that laid out how to deal with different emergencies. It did not have any plan for how to deal with a crowd surge or stampedes.

The instructions included how to deal with a dead attendee. The plan told the security guards to never use the word "dead" or "death" over the radio. The staff was told to use the word "smurf" to describe someone who died.

Scott and Live Nation have been hit with over 20 lawsuits since the event. Many fans accuse the defendants of being negligent by failing to hire adequate staff. The Houston police chief claims he had a meeting with Scott before the show where he warned him about the security issues.
