Meghan Markle's Estranged Father Thomas Investigated Over Alleged 'Stash of Inappropriate Child Images' — After 'His Own Son Turned Him In'

Meghan Markle's estranged father, Thomas, is allegedly being investigated after a large number of inappropriate images of children were reportedly found at his home, RadarOnline.com has learned.
His son, Thomas Jr., allegedly discovered "hundreds, if not thousands" of such images in boxes at his residence in the Philippines.
Thomas Markle Jr. Reported Incident Amid Meghan Markle Estrangement
Meghan Markle has been estranged from her father for years.
Thomas Jr. reported the incident to authorities in the Philippines, according to The Sun, and police intend to collect the evidence in the near future.
"Now maybe people will finally understand why she has had nothing to do with her father since 2018," a source close to Meghan told the publication.

Thomas Markle left the Philippines in May 2026.
Thomas is currently in the United States. He left Cebu, Philippines, in May of this year after suffering a prior health emergency that led to an amputation. He had been living in the country since 2025.
"He will be able to get the best prosthetics here and be surrounded by friends and family to support him," his daughter Samantha Markle said at the time of her father's condition. "Even though he has been through such traumatic times, this has been a positive spiritual experience for Dad."
Thomas Markle's Son Claims He Was 'Horrified' by Images
Thomas Markle Jr. said he contacted the FBI and local authorities.
His son alleged that he found the shocking child s-- abuse images in boxes at his dad's property months after he'd left the Philippines. Thomas Jr. said he had been searching through his dad's things for a phone to give to his girlfriend's father.
But when he looked through an LG mobile, he allegedly saw a lengthy video of unclothed girls no more than 10 or 11 years old.
There were also pictures of similar content.
Upon discovering the images, he claimed he contacted the FBI in the U.S. and also submitted a statement to local police.
"When I found this material, I was horrified, and I had no option but to report my dad," he said in a recent interview. "I have supported, cared for him, and helped him for years – but that stops now."
"I won’t speak to my father ever again unless I’m called to give evidence against him," he added.

Thomas Markle Jr. claimed what he found at his father's home was 'highly illegal.'
"What I saw made me sick to the stomach – all this stuff was just dumped on me and I didn’t know what to do," he explained. "I knew right away it was highly illegal and would land me in jail for a long time if I didn’t get rid of it. I felt betrayed, angry and disgusted – and realized I had to report him."
Thomas Jr. allegedly told a friend that his father had an "unbelievable amount" of things at his home, and as he searched, he found "old books that turned out to be full of naked little girls."
"Then the technician helped me turn on the first hard drive, and I gasped when all of the icons suddenly appeared," he continued. "His desktop was full of row upon row of thumbnail pictures linking to the most sickening child abuse imaginable. The worst of the worst."
