Dr. Dre’s ex-wife Nicole has only $1 million in the bank now which is a far cry from the days when she had access to the mogul’s estate worth $1 billion.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, 51-year-old Nicole informed the court of her monthly income and expenses as part of her divorce.
In the docs, Nicole says she is not employed at the moment. She previously told the court she stopped working to raise the two kids she had with Dre.
She lists a total of $1,001,729 in her bank accounts. Nicole claims the rest of the $1 billion estate is in Dre’s control. Her average monthly expenses total $2,356,936.
The amount includes $48k spent on private security. Nicole also filed a summary of her expenses during the years 2017-2019 when she was married to Dre.
The music mogul had 7 different homes and was making massive mortgages payments every month. The docs reveal during the time period he was spending $148k per month on a Los Angeles mansion and another $165k on his Malibu property.
Their monthly expenses included over $80k on their children, $322k on travel, $645k on gifts, $12k on entertainment, $59k on clothes, $121k on household expenses and $10k on jewelry.
The breakdown shows Nicole spending around $1.3 million per month during the three-year period. She believes the court should consider this when making a final determination on spousal support.
Back in January, Dre agreed to pay his ex $2 million in temporary spousal support until the judge figures out the final number. He had already been paying Nicole $293k a month in support.
Nicole was also demanding $5 million to pay her legal bills. Recently, the two went back and forth after Dre was served with legal papers at his grandmother’s funeral.
The papers relate to her claims Dre has failed to pay out $1.5 million owed to her in the divorce. He denies the claim and is refusing to cough up the additional funds.
