On Monday, Trump arrived at the New Hampshire Statehouse, where he registered for the state's primary, and had a photo op before hosting an off-the-rails campaign event at Derry's New England Sports Center later that day.

During his arrival, Trump and his campaign team heard a familiar chant coming from the crowd, except this time, it was aimed at the embattled ex-president, who faces 91 criminal counts across four indictments, instead of his former Democrat opponent Hillary Clinton.

"Lock him up! Lock him up!" protesters exclaimed outside the statehouse.

One enthusiastic protester made sure Trump heard him and came to the statehouse with a megaphone, which he used to mock the GOP frontrunner by shouting, "Trump is a chicken! Cluck! Cluck! Cluck!" The person even challenged the former president, saying, "Come and debate me, Trump!"

While there was no confrontation between the protester and Trump or a member of his campaign staff, it appeared he heard the message.

Trump bizarrely claimed that he was "never indicted" and once again attempted to blame his legal woes on President Joe Biden.

"We did nothing wrong. This is all Biden, indictments and impeachments and this is all about Biden, he can’t do anything right," Trump said on Monday. "The only thing they know how to do is cheat in elections and election fraud. This is all by himself."

"All of these indictments that you see. I was never indicted. Practically never heard the word. It wasn’t a word that registered," Trump added.

Trump wasn't spared from the protesters' cheers when it came time to leave, either. As the ex-president made his way down the statehouse's steps, the crowd once again used his MAGA rally cries against him.

"Stop the Steal! Lock Him Up! Lock Him Up! Lock Him Up!" the protesters yelled as the megaphone-wielding man sang, "Donald Trump is going to jail!"

The chants came after several former Trump attorneys pled guilty in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' election interference case, on which Trump is named a co-defendant. Trump attempted to distance himself from former counsel and argued he was not represented by attorneys like Sidney Powell.
