Denise Richards Believes Charlie Sheen Is Pitting Their Daughters Against Her, ‘Blindsided’ By Actor Having Court Lower Child Support

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards is fuming after her ex-husband Charlie Sheen convinced a judge to cut his child support payments down to zero.

Sources close to Richards told People the actress was “blindsided” by the actor’s decision to go back to court. He asked for a hearing after their 17-year-old daughter Sami decided to move in with him.

She said Denise ran an “abusive household.” Sami dropped out of high school and is currently living with Sheen. Their 16-year-old Lola is still living primarily with Richards.

She spends time with Sheen when her mom is out of town on work.

A source told People, "Charlie filed two years ago and kept pushing the court date, so Denise was very surprised that it happened yesterday while she is out of town filming. She was blindsided.”

The insider claimed Richards felt Sheen was “manipulating the situation” and “pitting the girls against their mother, which is horrible.” The Bravo star is “very disappointed” but not surprised by Sheen’s actions.

Denise and Charlie are clearly not on the same page at the moment, The two have fought off-and-on ever since getting hitched back in 2002. The former Hollywood power couple had one of the messiest splits in history with Denise accusing Charlie of being hooked on drugs and addicted to porn.

When Sheen was pulling in millions on Two And A Half Men, Richards was being paid a pretty penny in child support per month. At one point, the actor was ordered to pay $50,000 a month for Sami and Lola.

Richards reportedly agreed to slash the amount down to $25k recently and even worked out a deal with Sheen where he saw the girls more.

However, it looks like the deal ended up backfiring for Richards who is now being dragged back to court and dealing with her daughter trashing her publicly.

The family drama all leaked out after Sami posted a bombshell TikTok last month. She wrote, "1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school, etc…”

She ended, “now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school :).”

Richards is currently out of the country but is set to return later this month.
