Months after coming out as gay, Colton Underwood is his living his (and everyone else's) best life.
The 29-year-old Bachelor alum recently jetted off to Punta Mita, Mexico, for more than just a little R&R with an intimate group of friends that included HBO's Hacks star Johnny Sibilly.
Staying at the ritzy Four Seasons Resort, Colton and Johnny made margaritas, lounged by the pool and even toasted with chicken nuggets.
The two were all over each other's Instagram pages, documenting the fun getaway and being cheeky in each other's comments.
"brb. with some friends on the beach," Underwood captioned a group shot he posted to his grid, prompting Sibilly to reply, "SOAKED."
The 33-year-old actor – who's also out and proud – posted a different group shot, captioning the image, "turtle time & tequila with these babies."
Colton replied, "Can you please pass me the chicken nuggets?"
The former football player also shared a solo shot of a cheesing Johnny leaning up against the side of the pool with his arms spanned out wide.
Though it seemed like a fun group trip, Colton and Johnny appeared to be particularly chummy with one another.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Underwood "is single," at least that was the case back in April when he was photographed dining with a mystery man in Silver Lake. We were told the guy was "just a friend, nothing romantic."
At the time, Underwood had just come out to the world in a televised interview with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts. He told her he had known since the age of 6 but had not allowed himself to come to terms with his sexuality until this year.
In a subsequent interview with Variety – during which he revealed he was blackmailed into coming out after an anonymous emailer threatened to release nude photos of him at a gay spa – Colton admitted to having fooled around on gay dating app Grinder, but he did so under an alias.
"I was 'the Virgin Bachelor,' but I did experiment with men prior to being on The Bachelorette," he told the publication. "When I say 'hookups,' not sex. I want to make that very clear that I did not have sex with a man, prior to that."
Last month, when he asked his 2 million Instagram followers to "ask me a question" via a very inviting Instagram Story post, Underwood opened the floodgates.
"How many guys have you done things with?" one curious fan asked, prompting the ex-reality television star to respond publicly.
"Let me vent for a second," Underwood wrote in an Instagram Story response featuring the very question that set him off. "Questions like this are inappropriate. I understand you might know me from the bachelor where I shared a lot about my personal life. I have set boundaries and I'm respecting myself in a way that will lead me to a healthier life."
