Angelina Jolie is out here living her best life for her 46th birthday after spending a week with her kids in the Big Apple.
The actress continues to be caught by paparazzi despite being able to avoid them for years. This time Jolie was photographed all week in New York running around the town.
Jolie was seen wearing all black while checking out the artwork at the Brooklyn Museum by herself. She was given a private tour by one of the employees.
She didn't seem too concerned being photographed walking around by herself in the streets. Jolie wasn't alone on the trip and was seen spending time with her children doing tourist things in the city.
All of her children including 19-year-old son Maddox, 17-year-old Pax, 16-year-old Zahara, 15-year-old Shiloh, and 12-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox were seen with her.
The very public outing is interesting given the recent decision in court. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jolie had been demanding primary custody in the bitter dispute with ex Brad Pitt. The two had been fighting for over 5 years. The trial in the case lasted several months and only recently wrapped.
During the battle, Jolie didn't hold back when trying to paint her ex as a bad person. She even brought up the 2016 incident between Pitt and Maddox where they got into a fight on an airplane. Welfare officials investigated the matter and determined Pitt did nothing wrong.
Jolie believes the private judge who presided over the case failed to disclose all his ties with Pitt's lawyer. She asked for him to be disqualified from the case but was shut down in her request.
The Mr. & Mrs. Smith actress is appealing the decision to not disqualify the judge. She believes there were several errors made during the trial which lead to the decision of joint custody being reached.
Jolie is scheduled to appear in court next month to continue moving her appeal forward. Pitt already has his lawyers on the case ready to fight her attempt to overturn the joint custody ruling.
