'Tis the season! Family man Alec Baldwin was spotted getting into the holiday spirit just days after lunging at a reporter who poked him with questions about his involvement in the fatal shooting on the set of Rust.
The actor went shopping in preparation for Christmas with his wife, Hilaria, and their kids in New York City.
Paparazzi captured the cheerful moments showing Balwin and his family picking out their Christmas tree in the Big Apple.
In the snaps, the Boss Baby actor can be seen speaking with the tree seller, even posing for pictures with him.
The family, who appeared to be in great spirits during the festive outing, were photographed all bundled up in their sweaters as the cold winter season had arrived in the city.
At one point, the 63-year-old actor even did the heavy lifting. He was spotted carrying the fir tree they had picked out to take home with them.
The sighting comes just days after the embattled actor was caught aggressively lunging towards a reporter with an umbrella outside of Woody Allen's Upper East Side townhouse.
New York Post journalist Jon Levine posted a video of himself asking Baldwin questions about the Rust tragedy, which claimed the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
"Did you not pull the trigger? Do you believe it went off without you pulling the trigger? Was it a malfunction?" Levine repeatedly asked.
At first, Baldwin attempted to ignore the questions while knocking on the door of the house he and his wife were visiting.
However, the situation turned glum after Hilaria asked the reporter "to go away," which prompted the actor to make an immediate move, losing his cool as he walked towards the reporter with the umbrella in his hand.
Baldwin told Levin, "You are not allowed to photograph on somebody's private home," while continuing to take his steps closer to the reporter before Hilaria grabbed him by the collar and redirected him to Woody's front door.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Baldwin had come under fire after accidentally shooting Halyna and film director Joel Souza in October while filming Rust at the Bonanza Creek Ranch, New Mexico.
As a result, Halyna was pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital via a helicopter. Meanwhile, Souza was transported to a different medical center for his injuries and released the following day.
In a recent interview with George Stephanopoulos, Baldwin confessed he "didn't pull the trigger."
During the chat, he burst into tears describing the horrific incident, sharing, "Someone put a live bullet in a gun. A bullet that wasn't even supposed to be on the property."
On Thursday, he wrote a lengthy Instagram post, attempting to do damage control for the movie production, writing, "the descriptions of Rust as a chaotic, dangerous, and exploitative workplace are false."
The actor also claimed, "we were enjoying our workplace" before noting that "those disgruntled few do not represent the views of all of us."
