New details have emerged in the legal scandal regarding Britney Spears’ conservatorship.

According to new documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the singer’s care manager, Jodi Montgomery, will continue to serve as her conservator until April 30, when the case will be reevaluated. And while Jodi has control over Britney's medical and personal decisions, the star’s father, Jamie Spears, remains the “conservator of the estate,” and controls all of his daughter’s financial decisions.

The documents were signed by a judge on February 14.

RadarOnline.com readers know Jamie, 67, temporarily stepped down as conservator of Britney’s “person” following health issues and abuse claims relating to an alleged incident with Britney’s kids. Fans recall the pop diva’s ex-husband Kevin Federline accused Jamie of attacking their eldest son during an August 24, 2019 incident. While no criminal charges were filed against Jamie, Federline, 41, was granted a temporary restraining order. Now, Britney’s father is forbidden from seeing grandsons Sean Preston, 14, and Jayden, 13, for three years.

After her father’s health crisis in April 2019, Britney, 38, checked into a mental wellness center. Despite their relationship issues, Jamie has always been by Britney’s side and famously took charge of her conservatorship after her 2007 mental breakdown.

Prior to and following her latest stint in the wellness center, fans accused Britney of acting bizarre on social media. Still, she and boyfriend Sam Asghari continue to insist that she’s doing just fine.

In May 2019, the star agreed to undergo a 730 evaluation as part of her conservatorship case. Her mother, Lynne, attended the hearing with her.

In September 2019, RadarOnline.com exclusively reported Britney was still very upset with her dad over his alleged aggressive interaction with her eldest son, and made it clear she wanted out of her conservatorship.

“She is going to try and use this to get out of the conservatorship, and stop having Jamie be her conservator,” a source told RadarOnline.com at the time. “She doesn’t want him running her life anymore.”

Reps for Jamie and Britney did not respond to RadarOnline.com’s request for comment on the matter.

Documents previously obtained by RadarOnline.com state that as the conservator to Britney’s “person,” Jodi is “able to get security guards for Britney and caretakers, and she also has the power to file civil harassment restraining orders that she deems are appropriate.”

She is also able to “communicate about Brit’s personal medical treatment, diagnosis and testing,” and “will get all access to Brit’s psychiatric treatment and care.”

It’s unclear if the “Circus” singer is still attending rehabilitation classes following her alleged 2019 breakdown.
