Wilmer Valderrama is engaged!
As RadarOnline.com has learned, the NCIS actor, 39, popped the question to model girlfriend Amanda Pacheco on New Year’s Day, after less than one year of dating.
“'It’s just us now' 01-01-2020” he captioned a photo of the dreamy beach proposal on Instagram.
Pacheco, 28, shared the same photo on her Instagram, along with one of her wearing her massive diamond ring while holding Valderrama’s hand.
Various stars and friends congratulated the happy couple in the comments section of their posts. Demi Lovato’s fans, however, threw serious shade at Valderrama. As readers know, the “Tell Me You Love Me” singer, 27, dated the That ‘70s Show actor for six years before the two called it quits in 2016.
“I know Demi wanted that proposal from Wilmer after 6 years and now he proposed to his girlfriend after a year. That man ain’t right for doing my girl like that,” one Twitter fan wrote.

“Wilmer’s ass was with Demi when she barely turned 18 yet never gave her an engagement ring when he was with her for over 6 years but he decide to pop the question to this other girlie knowing Demi still cared about him? This is what I’m talking about: Demi deserves better,” another tweeted.
“Im sic not mad..... just that demi was for so long with him and when she said several times that she wants to marry wilmer he ignored her and now with his new gf that arent sic even together for a year,” a third user commented.
Lovato has often spoken of the positive impact Valderrama had on her life and has even credited him for helping her recover from her addictions.
After her 2018 drug overdose, her ex visited her at the hospital in Los Angeles, and later, at the Utah rehab facility where she was receiving treatment.
“Wilmer has been there for Demi every second since the overdose, and he is planning to fly to visit her in rehab, possibly as soon as this weekend,” a source close to Lovato told RadarOnline.com prior to his visit. “All he has ever wanted was for Demi to stay sober, and this whole situation just breaks his heart.”
“Demi has come clean to him about everything that happened — and she is still madly in love with him,” the insider added at the time. “He knows this, and he is very much in love with her too.”
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com weeks prior, Lovato’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, admitted she always thought the singer and Valderrama “were gonna get married.”
“I really came to really truly love him as a person, and as a person that I really wanted to be in our family,” she explained of her relationship with the actor, adding that she believes Valderrama “still loves” Lovato, “and she loves him.”
Lovato has not commented on Valderrama’s engagement to Pacheco.
