Kaia Gerber's Parents Worry Amid Her Beau Pete Davidson 'Freaking Out'?

Are Kaia Gerber's famous parents worried about the young model's relationship with her erratic Saturday Night Live star boyfriend Pete Davidson?
Cindy Crawford and her restaurateur husband Rande Gerber were seen having a heated discussion outside their daughter Kaia’s New York apartment about Pete on Thursday, Dec. 26, the Daily Mail reported.
Although it was unclear exactly what the talk was about, the Gerbers both looked concerned while they stood in the foyer of their 18-year-old daughter's Manhattan building.
It seemed Rande had been in Kaia's apartment while Cindy was outside and he had then come down to the foyer to speak with his wife.
A "bystander" told the Daily Mail that Rande was heard saying that the person upstairs - believed to be Pete - had "scratched eyes" and was "freaking out."
After Cindy, 53, and her husband, 57, left, Kaia’s beau Pete, 26, was observed near the building inside a silver Lincoln SUV.
Later that evening, Kaia returned to her apartment by herself, while holding a water-bottle in front of her face.
The beauty and her comedian love have been dating since October.
Readers know the model has been hanging out quite often with Pete after he was first spotted leaving her apartment building on October 23. That day, they were spotted getting cozy at the NYC restaurant Sadelle.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, an insider believes Pete is using Kaia for publicity.
“He’s shamelessly dropping Kaia’s name as a way into all the celeb parties to schmooze with the big Hollywood producers,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
“He’s done this with all the famous ladies he’s dated,” including Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale, the insider claimed, “and everyone thinks it’s a joke.”
According to the source, “He’s itching to make it big in the movies any way he can and brags that he’s got several projects in the works and that he’ll move on to superstardom any day now, like a lot of SNL cast members before him.”
On Nov. 23, photographers went wild as Kaia and Pete engaged in a passionate make out session by a pool in Miami.
Gerber and Davidson's Florida getaway came after an exclusive RadarOnline.com report that revealed her folks "Cindy and Rande let Kaia make her own decisions," a source said. "They have always treated her like a grown-up. She's mature and that is how they treat her."
But could the supermodel and her husband now be stepping in to make sure their daughter's okay during the bizarre romance?
Everyone in Pete's circle is “glad he’s been able to maintain his sobriety,” the RadarOnline.com source recently explained, “but this success he’s had with the ladies seems to have gone to Pete’s head and turned him into an absolute douche.”
Davidson, who was diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder, has admitted he has struggled with marijuana in the past.
“The only way I was able to stop is when someone put me in the house where there is literally nothing, because I had too much access,” he said of going through rehab in 2016.
