Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline have come to a custody arrangement for their two sons amid her ongoing conservatorship case, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
In court papers obtained from Superior Court of Los Angeles, a Stipulation and Order Regarding Modification of Child Custody was filed on Wednesday, August 28.
A source confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Federline, 41, will receive Sean Preston, 13, and Jayden James, 12, 70 percent of the time, while Spears, 37, will have them for the remaining 30 percent.
According to reports, their previous agreement was 50/50 custody.
The redacted court papers state the parties “stipulate to early neutral settlement.” All pending discovery and motions in the case have been stayed.
Spears has been ordered to pay Federline $100,000 for fees and costs.
The new custody order comes amid Spears’ conservatorship case.
Britney’s dad Jamie, who has been dealing with medical issues, has been in charge of her conservatorship ever since she suffered a mental breakdown in 2007.
She checked into a mental wellness center in April 2019 amid her father’s health crisis.
Her mother, Lynne, then requested to be informed of all updates in her daughter’s conservatorship case. She filed a Declaration of Urgency on Tuesday, May 7, requesting the court permit an order to have one of her attorneys, Gladstone N. Jones III, appear at the Status Hearing set for May 10. The request was granted.
During the closed Status Hearing, Spears was ordered to undergo a 730 evaluation. A source explained to RadarOnline.com that a court-appointed expert will assess Spears to provide an opinion and recommendation to the court.
The next Status Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18.
