Angelina Jolie is ready to add another child to her brood, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

The Maleficent actress is planning to adopt a seventh child following eldest son Maddox's departure for college in South Korea, and she "wants it to happen within the next few months," a source said.

“This has been in the works for a while, but she put it on hold until after Maddox officially left home,” the source added.

As readers know, Jolie, 44, dropped Maddox, 18, off to college in South Korea late last month.

Her decision to adopt another child align with her anguish over her first child's new life in Seoul's Yonsei University.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the mom of six said she was "not feeling very strong" after he left home.

A source claimed she wanted to try dating again to fill the void.

However, the star seems she would rather look for love from her new child, although it is not yet clear where the bundle of joy will be adopted from.

“Because of her ties to so many countries, Angie has several options to choose from that won’t involve too much red tape or background screening," a source exclusively shared with RadarOnline.com. "She’s doing this very methodically and still favors picking a child from an impoverished region she’s familiar with, like Syria or another part of the Middle East."

Though Jolie hopes to complete Marvel movie The Eternals before adopting another child, the source insisted, “the plan is to have a child in her arms by the year’s end at the latest."
