Vanderpump Rules star Billie Lee has had enough of reality TV!
After appearing in a recurring role for 2 seasons of the hit Bravo show, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the controversial cast member, 35, has "quit filming for the upcoming season 8."
"Billie Lee has had a really hard time with the disrespect and negative thoughts overall from the show and from certain co-stars," a source close to the cast said.
"She is sick of the bullies and the backlash that she's gotten on social media. She is ready to do her own thing now, and is trying to pitch her own show. She doesn't need any of that drama anymore."
Fans know Lee had a lot of tension with her co-stars.
After being excluded from a Girls Night In party, she exploded on social media and accused her costars of being transphobic.
“When yo (sic) co-workers don’t include the only trans girl in GIRLS night at your own job! On the night you work! #rudeAF #TransIsBeautiful,” Billie Lee tweeted after learning she was not invited to the Girls Night In.
Katie Maloney immediately fired back, letting her know that her gender identity had nothing to do with it, and that she was, in fact, invited. “
Billie is trying to insinuate that we left her out because she is trans. No. Not for a minute did I think that Billie wouldn’t be there,” Katie, 32, said.
Although Billie has had several hiccups with cast mates, the source insisted that Lisa Vanderpump would always welcome her back on the show.
"Lisa has encouraged Billie to stay and to keep growing. Lisa is so proud of her and what she stands for," the insider added. "She is always welcome back on Vanderpump Rules."
