Allison Mack may be breathing a sigh of relief. The former Smallville star’s sentencing date for her NXIVM sex crimes has been postponed by a judge, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to online reports, Judge Nicholas Garaufis, who led cult leader Keith Raniere’s trial, ruled on Monday, July 15 that the September hearings scheduled for Mack, Raniere and Lauren Salzman have been postponed.

The shocking development comes less than two weeks after the judge postponed the sentencing hearings for Nancy Salzman, Kathy Russell and Clare Bronfman until further notice.

Reports claimed that the judge postponed the hearings to allow probation officials more time. According to NXIVM blog Frank Report, probation officers intend to interview Raniere to determine his threat to society.

RadarOnline.com reported that Mack, 36, pleaded guilty to two counts of racketeering charges in April. Her co-defendants Lauren and Nancy Salzman, Kathy Russell and Clare Bronfman did as well.

Meanwhile, in June, Raniere, 58, was found guilty of seven felonies including sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child pornography and sex trafficking.

Mack faces up to 40 years in prison while Raniere could be sentenced to life behind bars.

New sentencing dates have yet to be announced by the judge.
