Nancy Grace believes Allison Mack should not be given any leniency when it comes to her prison sentence for her involvement in the NXIVM sex cult, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
In an interview with RadarOnline.com, the veteran prosecutor told RadarOnline.com that Mack, 36, deserves to be locked up behind bars for the same amount of time as the inner sex ring's leader, Keith Raniere, 58.
"I don't care if she's a famous actress or not," Grace fumed to RadarOnline.com. "She did this. She stood by him and watched it and took part of it. She should get the same sentence as Keith Raniere."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Mack's sentencing is scheduled to take place in federal court on September 11. The former Smallville star is currently on house arrest in her parents' Los Alamitos, Calif. home while the disgraced leader Raniere is locked up in prison awaiting his own sentencing.
RadarOnline.com reported that Mack pleaded guilty to two counts of racketeering charges earlier this year just weeks before Raniere stood trial. On June 19, a jury found Raniere guilty of seven felony counts for his involvement in the horrific cult that branded women with a cauterizing iron and sexually manipulated women.
"We're talking about an actual sex pervert who actually took hot iron and branded human flesh of his victims," Grace said. "He's criminally liable for all of that."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Raniere's charges included sexual exploitation of a minor and child pornography.
In a shocking twist, RadarOnline.com learned on Thursday, July 2, that Mack's co-defendants Nancy Salzman, Kathy Russell and Clare Bronfman's sentencing dates have been postponed indefinitely.
According to a source, the July hearing dates scheduled for Salzman, Russell and Bronfman have been adjourned "sine die," meaning the judge has yet to announce future dates. This news has fueled rumors that another superseding indictment against Raniere's co-conspirators may be on the horizon.
Mack faces up to 40 years for her crimes although it is believed she will likely face only three to five years due to sentencing guidelines. Raniere, however, is looking at a minimum of 15 years to life in prison.
According to Grace, "They should all stew in the same pot."
The respected prosecutor and seasoned TV journalist is hosting a new show on the Oxygen Network called Injustice with Nancy Grace. The true crime show will cover cold cases that Grace has never explored before.
"Each one is so different and no victim is important than another victim. We had to do a lot of analysis to figure out which cases to start with," Grace explained.
Injustice with Nancy Grace airs on Oxygen on July 13 at 6 p.m. ET.
