Meghan Markle is breaking royal tradition as she rocks the boat for the British monarchy, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

An insider dished that the Duchess of Sussex, 37, is “fighting for equality” under Queen Elizabeth’s rule.

While she understands that Kate Middleton will become Queen when Prince William becomes King, Meghan doesn’t think it’s fair for her to have to “bow down,” a royal insider told Radar.

“Meghan and Harry feel that the rules and regulations in connection with Royal protocol are antiquated to forward thinking Millennials,” the source explained about the American born princess.

“Meghan and Harry respect tradition but want the freedom to do their own work and promote their causes without being held back by any constraints,” the source said about the California actress who captured Prince Harry’s heart, and gave him his first son.

“This is the real point of contention and it has nothing to do with Meghan versus Kate or Harry versus William,” the insider said about the root of the family feud that has threatened to tear apart Princess Diana’s boys.

“Meghan has big ambition and lofty goals and feels it is unfair that her unrelenting work ethic is being stifled because the others can’t keep up with her,” she source sniffed.

Her early morning emails are reportedly legendary terrors for the royal staff not used to her schedule.

“It’s not a competition to Meghan, it’s about working hard and delivering results and that is what she is laser focused on,” the source insisted to Radar.

While she made a brief appearance at Buckingham Palace, Meghan was still spending time with her infant son Archie, but the source warned she wasn’t staying away forever.

“Expect her to make a huge comeback after her maternity leave ends. You will see her everywhere and she is already booked out through 2021.”
