Ariana Grande broke down during her Sweetener Tour concert in Pittsburgh last night, and a source close to the starlet told RadarOnline.com exclusively she's "an emotional mess right now!"
Fans know Grande, 25, cried Wednesday, June 13 while singing a verse written about late ex Mac Miller from her hit song, "Thank U, Next."
The concert took place in Miller's hometown.
Loved ones are concerned about Grande's well-being following her breakdown. "Of course her family is worried. She has so many things on her plate and she has been trying to juggle everything while trying to also have some semblance of a personal life."
Added the informant: "Ariana has been so hot and cold lately and no one knows which version of her they are going to get and right now she is more unpredictable than ever."
And understandably so!
On May 22, 2017, 22 people were killed by a suicide bomber at Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena in London, England.
As if that weren't bad enough, Grande's longtime ex-boyfriend, Miller, died of a drug overdose just one year later, on September 7, 2018, at his home in Los Angeles.
At the time, Grande was engaged to SNL host Pete Davidson. Shortly after Miller's tragic passing, however, Grande split with Davidson, 25, who put their breakup on blast.
Several months later, Grande started on her Sweetener Tour.
In a December 2018 interview with Billboard, Grande admitted that she had turned to alcohol to cope with all of the tragedy in her life.
"I can’t even say ‘Good morning’ to anyone without crying. I don’t think I’ve ever consumed more alcohol than I have in the past month," Grande told the outlet.
And according to the insider, that has not changed.
"She is still drinking a lot and that has just made everything so much worse. Everyone is just praying for the best outcome right now, but she really needs to slow down."
