New details have emerged on Meghan Markle's pursuit of wealthy and famous English men prior to meeting Prince Harry!
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Duchess of Sussex had expressed her interest in English men during a conversation with former gal pal Elizabeth Cundy.
"We were having a girly chat and then she said, 'Do you know any famous guys? I'm single and I really love English men'. So I said, 'We'll go out and find you someone,'" Cundy recalled.
Now, it's been revealed that Cundy implied because Meghan didn't get a huge career breakthrough in Suits, she was seeking a rich Brit.
As the Express reported, Cundy said, "She told me she wanted to be on an English reality TV show and that she wanted an English boyfriend.
"She set her sights on 'Made In Chelsea' and worked hard to get in with that crowd.
"She said that she could only be in Suits for so long and that Hollywood was a really brutal place.
"She had not made a breakthrough, and said she would feel at home in London."
Cundy later paired Meghan with footballer Ashley Cole, but according to Express.co.uk, the fling ended once she got wind of his alleged promiscuity.
Markle, 37, also flirted temporarily with X Factor winner Matt Cardle, who she'd messaged in a DM after he'd followed her.
"He was stunned when she followed him immediately back and started messaging hi," a source told RadarOnline.com." She said she was a big fan of his work."
RadarOnline.com also reported the Duchess' interaction with him was cut short when he eventually ghosted her.
According to the Express, Meghan befriended the cast of Made in Chelsea, specifically stars Millie Mackintosh and Jessica Woodley.
Since meeting Prince Harry, Markle has allegedly ghosted Cundy.
"She was probably told by the Palace to end contact with people she befriended in the media. I was literally ghosted by her," said Lizzie of Meghan, who also cut ties with former pal Piers Morgan after starting a romance with the prince.
Since then, Markle and Prince Harry got married and are now proud parents to Baby Archie!
