Singer Madison Beer had a concert crisis at the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival on Saturday, May 25.
Beer, who is a friend of Kylie Jenner, was singing onstage when a man allegedly shouted "Gun!"
Fan video clips show Beer, 20, abruptly walking toward the back end of the stage as audience members appeared panicked and confused.
One Twitter video revealed that Beer, who recently attended Kylie's skincare launch party, asked someone to tell her "what the f–k is going on" and urged those in the crowd to "back up" from the stage.
While some accounts claimed that a man had pulled a gun out during Beer's show, a Napa Police Department spokesperson told Radar, "There was a minor disturbance at the Bai Stage during the Napa Valley BottleRock concert on Saturday. There was a disturbance, at 5:45pm, but no weapon was involved and no one was injured. The man who caused the disturbance was removed from the grounds. There was no threat to the community."
However, the "Home With You" singer's mother, Tracie Beer, wrote on Instagram about the incident, "As a parent all you want to do is protect your children. Is so disturbing to me that the world we're living in has made us has feel the need to have to always be aware of our surroundings. Looking over your shoulder in public places such as a concert where you'd like to feel free & distress from life's worries seems so sad to me… but this is the world we live in unfortunately. I wish there was a bubble I can put around my kids to shield them."
Tracie added in her post, "Last nights scare truly was disturbing & unsettling. My thoughts, prays & love to anyone that was in the crowd."
A bombing at Ariana Grande's Manchester Arena concert in 2017 killed 22 people and the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas shocked the nation later that same year as 58 people died.
Before the disturbance at Beer's concert, the Justin Bieber protégé had been having a great time, strutting around the stage in a pretty ruffled mini dress and thigh-high suede boots.
Beer hit the headlines in 2017 by being romantically linked with David Beckham's son Brooklyn.
Sadly, the new incident comes after Beer recently admitted social media drove her to depression as it left her feeling "desensitised and emotionally detached."
