No more “Pitt-y” for Angelina. RadarOnline.com has learned the ex-wife of Brad Pitt has officially dropped his last name, and will once again be known simply as Angelina Jolie.

According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com and filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on April 12, 2019: “Petitioner’s former name is restored to Angelina Jolie.”

The news comes just days after Angie and Brad filed a judgment in their divorce that restored their single status. But the battle over their divorce continues to intensify.

Jolie, 43, and Pitt, 55, negotiated a bifurcated judgment, which ended their marriage but allows them to continue to negotiate the end of their divorce, including settling assets and custody of their six children.

While neither is currently seeing a new significant other, an insider revealed the actors badly wanted the single status to “get on with their lives.”

The final divorce settlement will reportedly still take several more months.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Pitt and Jolie’s divorce has turned bitter, with both sides arguing over money and the future of their splintered family.

“This has been going on for such a long time now,” the insider told RadarOnline.com. “No amount of money or help from nannies can take away from how heartbreaking it is to see their parents at war like this.”

In a speech to the United Nations just last month, Jolie unleashed her feminist passion, asking others to consider “the perspective of women.”

“Around the world there are countless examples of women rising, taking leadership, taking their destiny into their own hands, inspiring all of us,” Jolie exclaimed. “But women and girls are still the majority of the victims of war. Women are at the absolute epicenter of modern conflict, in the worst possible sense."
