'MAFS' Star Jamie Otis Admits She Needs To 'Vent' About Parenting Struggles

Jamie Otis makes parenting look easy on social media – but the Married at First Sight star admits raising her daughter Henley isn't as simple as it appears to be. In this week's exclusive podcast clip of Hot Marriage. Cool Parents. Otis opens up about needing to vent to other moms.
On the 7th episode of the podcast, Otis welcomed mom bloggers Cat and Nat.
"When you have a really close friend who is also a mom, you understand you're not psychotic and your children aren't, it's just part of life," her guest said. "I think motherhood is so isolating, especially today because everything is supposed to be perfect and your children are supposed to be perfect, but they're not."
Otis added, "When someone is going through a hard time just be with me. Listen. You don't have to try to fix my problems. I'm not even asking for you to. Just listen to me vent please!"
When her guest asked if she vents to husband Doug Hehner, she revealed she does.
"Sometimes I'm like, he might think I'm crazy," she said.
