Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner have shared everything with fans except for one thing that has left them "embarrassed and ashamed."

In an exclusive clip of this week's Hot Marriage. Cool Parents. podcast, the Married at First Sight stars revealed they were in massive debt.

Otis, 32, admitted they were living in Hehner's parents' home when she was seven months pregnant with their daughter Henley.

"It took a while to pay off and my credit was shot," Hehner said. "I had a job where it was considered, for what loans would consider, more of a consistent pay check. The credit check and loan approval would've had to have gone through me. We both had to work through that part of it and build my credit back up to fix my debt I've accumulated since college."

He continued that he was "very irresponsible with money."

"While we were at my parents' house, which was depressing enough, I lose my job," he admitted. "This was right before we were supposed to be moving into our house. There was not a lot of positivity coming out of that part of it. We had the lowest part of our relationship at that point."

Otis admitted they didn't share this with fans because they were "a little embarrassed and ashamed."

"Neither one of us knew if our marriage would pull through," she said.
