UPDATE- The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed to Radar that the autopsy has been completed, but the cause of death is deferred. "The Medical Examiner is requesting additional investigation and laboratory testing," a spokesperson told Radar.
An autopsy is underway for soap star Kristoff St. John, who was mysteriously found dead in his California home on Sunday, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
An official at the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed to Radar that the autopsy was scheduled for Monday morning and could take "several hours" to complete.
St. John, 52, was found deceased in his Woodland Hills home at around 2:05 p.m., LAPD confirmed to Radar.
A police official also confirmed that the actor's death was possibly due to an alcohol overdose.
St. John was engaged to Russian model Kseniya Mikhaleva, who exclusively told Radar he sounded "sad" hours before his death. The two were in a long-distance relationship, as Mikhaleva is currently studying in Russia.
St. John previously struggled with mental health issues. In 2017, The Young and The Restless actor was hospitalized after threatening suicide.
As Radar readers know, St. John's son, Julian, whom he shared with ex-wife, boxer Mia St. John, took his own life in 2014.
