‘RHOC’ relief!

Shannon Beador scored a major legal victory when a judge dismissed the $1million lawsuit against her filed by her ex-costar’s husband Jim Bellino, and she expressed her satisfaction with the ruling

“I’m relieved the judge agreed with our position,” Beador told RadarOnline.com about the case where Alexis Bellino’s husband sued her for defamation.

She hired the high-powered legal firm O’Melveny, and she thanked her team “for all of their hard work on my behalf.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, a source close to Beador said she was disgusted by Bellino’s lawsuit, where he claimed she and Tamra Judge defamed him after his divorce announcement.

“This lawsuit was such a waste of time. His claims against her were complete b******t. He is such a vile man,” the insider fumed.

“We are pleased that the Court agreed with our argument that the First Amendment prohibits lawsuits based on alleged harm caused by someone who simply expressed her true opinion about issues that were already matters of public interest,” O’Melveny partner Brett Williamson told RadarOnline.com.

Beador was also represented by Bo Pearl and associates Nora Salem and Kurt Brown, the firm said.

Despite the ruling, Bellino told RadarOnline.com that he still plans to go after Beador.

“We are pleased that the judge ruled that my case against Tamra Judge will go forward. We believe the judge got it wrong on Beador and we will be filing an appeal in the next few days,” he said.

The drama exploded in July when Bellino filed the lawsuit against Beador and Judge, claiming that the RHOC stars made inappropriate remarks about him, his wife Alexis, and his trampoline park company, Jump Management Co.

But Beador’s lawyers were not having any of it — and neither did the courts!

“In sum, Beador’s motion to strike is granted in its entirety,” the court documents stated.

Although the case against Beador was dismissed, Judge was not dismissed from the lawsuit.

“The Court remains convinced that Jim has presented sufficient evidence to sustain his slander per se cause of action against Judge,” the documents stated.

As fans know, Beador and Judge’s alleged defamatory remarks were made during pal Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast in June, shortly after the Bellinos split.

“He was very crusty,” Judge said during the episode, adding that Bellino was a “shady mother f****r” who was “going to jail.”

At the time, Bellino told RadarOnline.com, “Among other lies, Judge and Beador claimed that I was 'going to jail,' that my divorce from Alexis was a sham and that my trampoline business is closed as a result of lawsuits and that people get paralyzed there.”
