Missing Wisconsin teen Jayme Closs has been found alive, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
“On Thursday evening Barron County Sheriff’s Department was notified by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department that they had located Jayme Closs, alive,” Baron County Wisconsin Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald stated. “Shortly after this, a suspect was taken into custody.”
Closs had been missing since October 15, 2018 when her parents Denise and James Closs were found murdered in their Wisconsin home and the 13-year-old was nowhere to be found.
Multiple 9-1-1 calls were made from her home, but police did not release the audio during their nation-wide search for the teenager.
“We want to thank the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department and agencies assisting them tonight. We also want to thank all the law enforcement agencies across the state and country that have assisted us in this case. We promised to bring Jayme home and tonight we get to fulfill that promise, THANK YOU!” Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald continued.
A press conference with the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, DCI and FBI is scheduled for Friday, January 11.
