The FBI is examining surveillance video collected from an expanded area around Barron, Wisconsin, in an effort to locate Jayme Closs, the missing 13-year-old girl who vanished from her home last month after her parents were brutally murdered, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Authorities currently have approximately 80 surveillance videos from businesses and private residences in the region, according to Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald.

“I have a gut feeling Jayme’s still alive,” Fitzgerald told KSTP-TV. “I’ve always been a glass half-full kind of guy.”

The FBI had pulled a number of resources and special agents from the investigation earlier this week. “It’s been about thirty days and we still don’t have much — if anything at all — to work with,” a source close to the investigation previously told RadarOnline.com.

Still, Sheriff Fitzgerald said the FBI recently expanded the hunt for surveillance footage to include communities outside of Barron County as they actively review and analyze the footage in their Milwaukee field office.

Police and loved ones have been frustrated in their attempt to find out what happened to Closs despite a $50,000 reward and numerous tips and leads pouring in each day.

"Something's got to give, there has to be something left somewhere," said Closs' uncle, Steve Naiberg.

"I know this whole area is in shock because never has the family fathomed they would deal with something like this, but this community hasn't either,” he added.
