Meghan Markle could be all set to make a sensational return to the small screen in 2019.

The Sunday Express Newspaper in Great Britain is reporting that NBC Universal have offered her an 'open check' to reprise her sole playing Rachel Zane on Suits.

And they may only need her to appear on screen for only two minutes.

They are even prepared to film in the UK to cope with her busy Royal schedule.

And interestingly the 37-year-old is still a fully paid-up member of a US actors' union.

Her fellow SAG-AFTRA members say she paid union dues for months ahead and could appear in front of the cameras if she wished.

Executives at NBC believe she would prove to be a huge ratings attraction and they desperately want to persuade her to reprise her role.

One senior production source confirmed: "We could be done in half a day or less.

"No final figure has yet been arrived at but negotiations are likely to be opened in the very near future.

"I've heard sums ranging from two to six million being kicked around and that sounds a lot – but it would be one of the biggest marketing coups."

It remains to be seen if The Duchess of Sussex can be persuaded to re-appear on Suits although she is known to have stayed in-touch with a former cast-mates.

One solution could be that her fee could be donated to a charity of her choice to avoid any potential backlash.
