Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff may need to watch his back.

According to Oregon state court records exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, the former husband of Matt's girlfriend has a dangerous past that could come back to haunt them.

Washington County documents reveal that Caryn Chandler's ex, Joseph Chandler, was arrested twice for driving while under the influence and once for assault.

In his most recent arrest on January 31, 2018, Joseph "did unlawfully drive a vehicle upon a highway or premises open to the public while under the influence of intoxicants, to wit: alcohol."

As a result, Joseph, 51, was sentenced to 45 days in jail, his license was revoked for a year, and he was sentenced to two years probation.

Joseph was also required to pay $1,855 in fees and was instructed to complete a "Victim Impact Panel" that was held on September 27, 2018.

Five years earlier on December 31, 2013, Joseph was arrested again for driving with a suspended license. He pled guilty to the charges and was placed in the "Washington County Community Corrections/State of Oregon Corrections Department for a period of three (3) years."

His suspended license during that time period stemmed from a 2009 incident. Joseph was arrested for the first time for driving while under the influence and causing injury to several people with his vehicle.

In addition, Joseph was charged with four counts of "unlawfully and recklessly engaging in conduct which created substantial risk of physical injury" to four additional individuals.

Jospeh pled guilty and a settlement of an undisclosed amount was reached. He was ordered to 80 hours of community service.

Caryn isn't new to dealing with a loved one having issues with drugs and alcohol.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Caryn and Joseph's son, Connor, 20, struggled with addiction for years. Connor revealed back in August 2018 that he was finally sober after going through a drug nightmare.

"My name is Connor. And this is my story about how addiction almost took my life," Connor wrote in a Facebook post. "I was 13 years old when I was first introduced to a drug called Xanax. Biggest mistake of my life was choosing to try it. Cause after that, i tried it again. Then again. And again. And again. I realized at the age of 15 i had a drug problem which i was at that point taking about 4 to 5 Xanax pills a day. It made forget, not feel, not care, not friendly, not me. Almost killed me, almost killed my relationship with my family, almost destroyed my entire life.”
