Little People, Big Trouble! Matt Roloff Girlfriend's Son Once Arrested For Theft

Matt Roloff's girlfriend Caryn Chandler's son has had shocking trouble with the law.

Just in the past couple of years, Connor Chandler, 19, was arrested twice for theft and criminal mischief, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The news comes only days after Connor admitted to struggling with drug addiction that caused his life to spiral out of control.

As RadarOnline.com reported this weekend, Connor revealed on Facebook how he kicked his horrifying addiction to Xanax —and apologized to his mother, who is Little People, Big World star Matt's galpal. Connor said he was sorry for putting her through the hell of his numerous jail stints, rehab, and hospital stays.

Now, a spokesperson for the Portland Oregon Juvenile Detention Center has told RadarOnline.com the grim truth — that in 2016, Connor was jailed for "theft in the first degree, and then in 2017, was arrested for criminal mischief in the second degree."

While details of what exactly went down remain a mystery, Connor is currently serving a whopping five year probation term.

According to an insider, Connor failed to appear to one of his court hearings which extended his probation time.

Connor recently announced on Facebook that he was now sober after years of being hooked on drugs.

He wrote, "My name is Connor. And this is my story about how addiction almost took my life. I was 13 years old when i was first introduced to a drug called Xanax. Biggest mistake of my life was choosing to try it. Cause after that, i tried it again. Then again. And again. And again. I realized at the age of 15 i had a drug problem which i was at that point taking about 4 to 5 xanax pills a day. It made forget, not feel, not care, not friendly, not me. Almost killed me, almost killed my relationship with my family, almost destroyed my entire life."

Connor also confided, "I went through 8 Impatient Rehabs, 8 outpatient treatment centers, 2 group homes, 17 times in jail, 3 warrants, 12 hospital visits for overdose, and 4 friends death from overdose before i finally got myself clean."

The humbled son then addressed his mother Caryn in the post, writing, "I want to apoligize sic to anyone and everyone i have hurt in my life. Mom, im so sorry. I took you through hell and back with my past addicitonsic. But just know, its over, and that thats never going to change, i will continue to do good and stay sober for the rest of my life."

Connor's revelations have stunned Little People, Big World fans who have watched Matt, 56, fall head over heels for his mom Caryn after the Roloff family patriarch's messy divorce from wife Amy, 53.

But Caryn's son Connor does seem to have come a long way since last October — when his sister took to Instagram to share her concerns.

"Tonight and most nights, I fall asleep wondering where my brother is, if he's safe, and what tomorrow will bring," Brittany, 22, wrote. "The heavy misuse of prescription drugs and opportunity to deal has turned my brother into someone I hardly even recognize anymore. I struggle to understand what this epidemic has become and why it has to be this way."
