Britney's Horror: Spears' Dad Jamie's Health Still 'Deteriorating' After Almost Dying

Britney Spears' beloved father's health is not in the clear by any means, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
In November 2017, the 66-year-old father to Britney, 37, Jamie Lynn, 27, and Bryan Spears, 41, fell "seriously ill" after his colon "spontaneously ruptured," leaving him hospitalized for several months.
And although a press release issued by the Spears camp said that Jamie is "expected to make a full recovery" after "almost dying," a source close to the pop princess told RadarOnline.com Jamie's health is not "well at all" just yet.
"He is having a lot of health complications that are stemming from his initial ruptured colon," the insider said.
The source continued, "Overall, his health is continuing to deteriorate and doctors have told him that he really needs to live on the straight and narrow, meaning that he cannot drink alcohol, or smoke, or do anything unhealthy from this point on."
The insider claimed Jamie has to have a live-in nurse and a chef to prepare his meals.
"He is not mobile like he once was and he pretty much spends his days confined to a bed," the source said.
So how is Britney — who was photographed on January 6 looking distraught while getting In N' Out Burger in Los Angeles with boyfriend Sam Asghari — holding up?
"She is back and forth to Louisiana, but she is not doing great by any means," the insider said. "You can see it on her face."
Her father's medical issues have "really taken a toll on her."

"She is not sleeping well and is really leaning on Sam right now as a source of support," the source said. "Thankfully, he is there for her as much as he can be."
On January 5, a spokesperson for Britney said that she has decided to cancel her entire upcoming "Britney: Domination" residency in Las Vegas to care for her ailing dad.
The "Toxic" singer took to social media to update her fans on her current situation, writing, "I've been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. However, it's important to always put your family first…and that's the decision I had to make. A couple months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We're all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him."
