Britney Spears took a break from worrying about her father’s health to grab a bite to eat, RadarOnline.com has learned. The singer, 37, canceled her entire upcoming “Britney: Domination” residency in Las Vegas after her father, Jamie Spears, suffered a health crisis that has left him fighting for his life. “I will not be performing my new show Domination,” the “Toxic” singer wrote to fans on social media. “I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. However, it’s important to always put your family first…and that’s the decision I had to make. A couple months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him.”
Britney and her boyfriend Sam Asghari were spotted treating themselves to In-N-Out Burger in Encino, Calif. on Jan 6.
Spears wore shades as she drove her Mercedes to the west coast burger franchise.
Asghari rode shotgun.
Spears looked somber as she ordered, perhaps still mentally distracted by the fate of her father.
Clearly hungry, the “Crazy” singer ripped into her burger as she drove away.
Later, a casually dressed Britney and boyfriend were seen shopping for a small mountain bike.
A statement by Park MGM described Spears’ decision as “an indefinite work hiatus.”
According to a news release, Jamie, 66, fell “seriously ill” in November 2018 after his colon “spontaneously ruptured.” He spent 28 days in a Las Vegas hospital, and is now recovering.
