Heather Locklear has left the hospital just over two weeks after her latest boozy meltdown led to an involuntary psychiatric hold, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. And now, the troubled actress is checked into an inpatient treatment facility.
“She’s now in rehab,” a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com. "Everyone hopes she will get a lot of it this time."
The Melrose Place star, 57, has been to rehab several times in the past. She just finished a three-month stint in October after her June arrest for allegedly assaulting a cop and an EMT.
This time around, It's unknown how long she will stay in the facility — but the source said her family and friends hope it will be longer than three months.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Locklear was placed on a 5250 hold, which allows an officer or clinician to confine a patient with a mental disorder to the hospital for two weeks after an initial 72-hour 5150 hold.
In the hours before first responders arrived to her home during the latest psychiatric emergency on November 18, Locklear was in a disturbing state that left her family and friends terrified for her well-being.
According to In Touch, the fallen star reeked of booze from drinking tequila, locked herself in her bedroom with her dog, and ran around outside in just a thong and tank top.
Though she wasn't arrested in her latest incident, Locklear still faces eight misdemeanor charges related to her two most recent arrests. She pleaded not guilty to all charges.
