Unhinged Heather Locklear got out of rehab just in time for Christmas, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned she's going right back.

The troubled actress, 57, is still at home but is returning to rehab later this week, a source revealed.

She was spotted shopping with her 56-year-old boyfriend Chris Heisser on December 22, 2018.

Photographers snapped images of Heisser at the Westlake Promenade, the source added: “They seemed to be enjoying themselves, grabbing a bite to eat and shopping.”

An informant told RadarOnline.com exclusively: “She is out of rehab — for now — to spend time with family for the holidays.”

The former Melrose Place star was expected to remain in treatment over the holidays because “she obviously needs more help," but her doctors seemingly greenlit the release instead.

“Everyone wants her to get better, no matter how long it takes," a pal dished, "where she’s not a risk to herself or anyone else.”

Locklear has been to rehab several times in the past. She just finished a three-month stint in October after her June arrest for allegedly assaulting a cop and an EMT.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Locklear was placed on a 5250 hold, which allows an officer or clinician to confine a patient with a mental disorder to the hospital for two weeks after an initial 72-hour 5150 hold.

In the hours before first responders arrived to her home during the latest psychiatric emergency on November 18, Locklear was in a disturbing state that left her family and friends terrified for her well-being.

Meanwhile, Locklear is still facing eight misdemeanor charges for allegedly assaulting a police officer and a paramedic when they attended a disturbance at her home in June – which could result in jail time. She pleaded not guilty to all charges.
