Las Vegas mass murderer Stephen Paddock had become impotent, it has been revealed.
His girlfriend Marilou Danley told investigators that he had lost interest in sex before he went on to gun down 58 people last October.
She says that Paddock was 'unable to perform' and sex left him 'exhausted' as investigators searched for a motive into the shootings.
However, the final police report into the massacre is unable to provide a motive.
But detectives were able to determine some character traits of the 64-year-old killer.
Based on interviews with Danley and other friends the report concludes that he was as an aloof narcissist, uninterested in politics or religion, who often developed heavy obsessions with any hobby he took up before quickly losing interest and dropping it entirely.
Based on interviews with his small circle of friends, the report describes Paddock, 64, as an aloof narcissist, uninterested in politics or religion, who developed heavy obsessions with any hobby he took up before quickly losing interest entirely.
Danley, 63, a Philippines native who later became and Australian citizen before moving to the US, met Paddock in Reno, Nevada, where she was working as a high-limit casino host.
Paddock would often visit her casino, where he was known as a high roller.
And after several years, their relationship developed from professional to romantic. By 2015 she quit her job so that they could travel more together while he paid her a monthly allowance.
The couple took many cruises and international trips together, including vacations to the Mediterranean, the Bahamas, Dubai, and Asia.
She revealed their relationship was 'very romantic' in the beginning, 'she noticed a gradual decline in affection.'
He claimed to have a 'chemical imbalance' and often complained of being sick, telling Danley that 'doctors couldn't cure him', the report stated.
Paddock banned her from wearing make-up and perfume claiming he was allergic.
However, his doctor revealed that his only recent ailment was a muscle tear but he suspected he was bipolar. But the killer refused to take medication or even discuss it.
Danley told investigators Paddock was physiologically able to have sex, but the physical act would exhaust him. Danley stated he would often sleep for long periods after physical exertion.
Investigators later found images of child pornography on his computer while he also had a stockpile of guns.
Danley was later cleared by the authorities of having any part in shootings – she believed his collecting guns was just a hobby.
