Multiple Fatalities At Mass Shooting Inside Florida Video Game Bar - Details
Police have responded to a mass shooting at a video game bar in Jacksonville, Florida today.
It is being reported that four people were killed and eleven injured during the incident.
Gamers had come from all over the country to take part in the event.
Chilling video footage has been released of gamers playing a John Madden NFL video game together while shots can be heard 'ringing-out' before the screen go blank.
Witnesses saw people being removed on stretchers and others being carried out by people at Jacksonville Landing where the game bar is located.
Police have asked the public and media to stay away from the area, which they say is not safe at this time.
"Mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing. Stay far away from the area. The area is not safe at this time. STAY AWAY #TheLandingMassShooting," the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said on Twitter.
Eyewitnesses claim that an argument broke out between two men before the gunfire erupted during the gaming tournament. Over 20 shots were fired during the incident.
It has been confirmed that the suspect, a white man, died at the scene.
The incident happened during a qualifying event for the Madden 19 tournament at the GLHF Game Bar.
One Madden participant, Young Drini, was grazed in the hand during the incident while the shooters targeted other people as they fled the scene.

At least three people injured in the shooting were transported to Memorial Hospital and all are in stable condition, hospital spokesperson Pete Moberg revealed.
One person is being treated for a minor injury at Baptist Medical Center, spokesperson Cindy Hamilton explained.
UF Health Jacksonville received six patients, including one in serious condition.
The victims ranged in age from 20 to 35 years old.
The victim in serious condition had multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, and doctors are monitoring this patient's heart.
At least three patients were shot once, and three were shot more than once, authorities revealed.
Federal law enforcement officials are still investigating the crime scene although the situation is fully under control.
The Jacksonville Landing is an open-air marketplace with stores, bars and restaurants in downtown Jacksonville along the St. Johns River.
