July 3 2018, Updated 9:44 p.m. ET
Rock and Roll icon Tina Turner is dealing with a personal tragedy, after her oldest son killed himself, authorities confirm with RadarOnline.com.
Officials say Craig Raymond Turner shot himself inside his Studio City, Calif home Tuesday afternoon.
Craig was the son of Tina and saxophonist Raymond Hill. The "Proud Mary" singer had him when she was just 18, and she married Ike Turner. Once Tina and Ike wed, Ike adopted Craig.
Craig Turner was 59.
This isn’t the first time tragedy has struck the Turner family.
In March, 2016, RadarOnline.com reported exclusively the singer came under fire by her own daughter-in-law for allegedly turning her back on another ailing son, Ronnie.
Afida Turner, Ronnie’s wife, accused her mother-in-law of refusing to help financially, after her husband’s heath rapidly declined years ago when he was diagnosed with dementia. Because of the illness, Ronnie, 57, is unable to walk and is suffering from mental issues.

“I can’t understand why, woman to woman, Tina doesn’t care about her son and his health!” Afida cried to a friend at the time. “I am very sad about this, and hope with all my heart that Tina will see that this is her son, and she can help us out.”
Tina, who lives in Switzerland with her much younger German music executive husband, Erwin Bach, is 78-years-old, and has been facing her own health crisis in recent years including suffering a stroke in 2014.
So far, there has been no comment from the grieving mother.
