Anthony Bourdain has been cremated in France—just six days after his tragic suicide death.

According to PEOPLE, his ashes will be flow back to the U.S. this Friday. It is unclear where they will be kept or distributed.

As readers know, the celebrity chef was found hanged inside his luxury hotel suite on June 8. He was 61 at the time.

Bourdain’s estranged wife—whom he never officially divorced— also shared a touching message.

“Our little girl had her concert today,” wrote Ottavia Busia on Instagram along with a photo of her and Bourdain’s daughter Ariane singing onstage. “She was amazing. So strong and brave. She wore the boots you bought her. I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are.”
