'Mr. Robot' Actor Rami Malek 'Acting Very Strangely' After Sudden Fame

Emmy Award-winning Mr. Robot star Rami Malek isn't handling fame well at all and friends tell RadarOnline.com that he's become "a virtual chain-smoking recluse who is too afraid of his fans to date or socialize."
"Rami really is turning into his odd-ball character on Mr. Robot," warned an insider of the 35-year-old actor.
"When he's not working, he's at home smoking cigarettes, memorizing scripts and monitoring the show's popularity on social media, which only scares him even more."
And when Malek does venture out?
"He can't walk down his New York City street without being recognized now and he's not coping at all with his new status," revealed the insider.
"He's become a total hermit and acting very strangely. He's not dating or hanging out with anybody, nor does he allow anyone new into his inner circle."
Now his ever-shrinking social circle contains just "his twin brother and his TV agents," said the insider.
