Inside Patrick Dempsey & His Wife Jillian's Plans To Have Another Child

Patrick Dempsey and his wife of 17 years, Jillian Fink, are going to be parents for the fourth time! "They are pursuing all options, including a surrogate or adoption," an insider revealed to Life & Style. "They're really excited."
The happy news marks a huge turnaround for the formerly estranged couple. As RadarOnline.com reported, Dempsey, 50, and his wife, also 50, officially filed for divorce in the beginning of 2015 amid reports he had strayed.
However, the two were able to slowly mend fences over the following year and a half and eventually called off their split.
"Everything is about change and growth," Dempsey confessed in an interview on Sept. 12. "The most important thing in my life is my family — my kids and my wife."
And, very soon, his new baby.
"They're in talks with a lawyer to help them navigate the complicated adoption system," the insider noted of the parents to daughter Tallulah, 14, and 9-year-old twin boys Darby and Sullivan, who are thrilled with the idea of another sibling. "They'd like a newborn, but the wait can be so long."

Regardless of which route to parenthood the two end up taking, added the insider, "They are happier than ever and ready for a fresh start."
