Caroline Manzo’s Daughter Lauren Expecting First Child With Husband Vito

Caroline Manzo is going to be a grandma! Her daughter Lauren Manzo Scalia is expecting her first child with husband Vito.

"We are so excited to be expecting our first child, due in early 2017,” Lauren and Vito told People. “What a crazy year it has been for us. Life is full of wonderful surprises!"

The Manzo’d with Children star revealed conceiving their first child took time.

“We had been trying to get pregnant for a while, and as soon as we stopped placing so much pressure on ourselves, it actually happened,” Lauren said.

While the Bravo stars, who tied the knot in July 2015, don't know the sex of their baby yet, they plan to find out before the birth.

“I'm team 'girl' while Vito is team 'boy!'" she said.

Lauren’s mother congratulated her daughter and son-in-law over Instagram.

“My beautiful little girl is going to be a mommy,” she said. “Congratulations @laurenmanzo & @vitoscalia3 we are over the moon with happiness for you both!”

Expanding their family will be a storyline on the current season of Manzo’d with Children. 

“I’m nervous that we haven’t gotten pregnant yet,” she told her husband in a July preview.

The bundle of joy will already have a playmate when he or she is born, as Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashlee Holmes welcomed son Cameron Hendrix with fiancé Pete Malleo in August.
