It's about time! Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's lengthy divorce process is finally coming to a close, RadarOnline.com has learned, making their "conscious uncoupling" official — almost.

The last nail in the coffin rests on one last property settlement, which the former couple has been working out through their business manager.

According to reports, Martin never responded to Paltrow's divorce petition, forcing the judge to enter a default judgment in the case.

But sources say Martin's silence was an intentional tactic in an effort avoid more press on their divorce proceedings.

Just months prior, the Coldplay frontman broke his silence on the split, calling their particular divorce process "a weird one."

"I still wake up down a lot of days," said Martin, 39, who also admitted he went through a "year of depression" after his divorce from the 43-year-old actress.

"You can come at it very aggressively and blame and blame," Martin told England's Sunday Times. "Or you can put yourself in the garage, so to speak. Take yourself apart and clean off the bits. Reassemble."

Meanwhile, Paltrow seems to be enjoying the single life. As RadarOnline.com reported, the actress recently splurged on a $4.9 million estate in Santa Barbara.
