Kelly Ripa's no-show standoff  with her co-host Michael Strahan is a bitter battle to the end.

Blindside by the news that the former NFL star was quitting Live with Kelly and Michael! to join Good Morning America, Ripa refused to go back to work last week.

The scorned 45-year-old, who was reportedly not told about the changes on her show until moments before it was publicly announced, fled to Turks & Caicos for vacation with her husband while Strahan, 44, hosted the show with a series of fill-in co-hosts.

However, Ripa has decided to return to work on her ABC show, telling her staff that she will be back on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

"Sorry for this late Friday night email," she wrote.

"I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information. Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me," according to the New York Times.

Hurt by the decision to leave her out of the discussion process, Ripa told her cast and crew that she would be returning to the show.

"We are a family and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning. Love, Kelly."

Strahan allegedly was trying to contact Ripa during her time off and a source told the magazine that he was contrite about the way the situation was handled.

He "is looking forward to having Kelly Ripa back on Live! He never wanted any of this to happen," a source told People magazine. "He got why she was mad but it was out of his control. He spent the last few days reaching out because he wanted her to come back."
