Leave it to Sarah Palin to make a political issue out of her son Track's recent arrest!
Trump's newest right-hand woman blasted President Obama for what she says is a failure to take care of military members returning home from conflicts abroad.
"My son, a combat veteran … was fighting for you all, America, in the war zone. My son, like so many others, came back a bit different, they come back hardened," she said today at a Tulsa political rally of her 26-year-old son Track, who spent a year deployed with the Army in Iraq.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Track was arrested for assault and possession of a weapon while intoxicated, after allegedly attacking his girlfriend in a Wasilla, Alaska, home on January 18.
"Palin approached the woman and struck her on the left side of her head near her eye with a closed fist," police claimed in court documents of troubled Track. "Palin then kicked her on the right knee."
The 22-year-old woman reportedly feared Palin's son would commit suicide after he grabbed a loaded gun and cocked it during the bitter fight.

Track's mother, who recently announced her support of presidential hopeful Donald Trump, used the troubling incident as fodder for her political views.
"They come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airman and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country," said Sarah, 51. "And that starts from the top…That comes from our own President."
"So when my own son is going through what he goes through coming back, I can certainly relate with other families who kind of feel these ramifications of some PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with," she added.
