Sinead O'Connor was found "safe and sound" in Dublin, Ireland after writing an alarming suicide threat to her Facebook followers on Sunday.

"I have taken an overdose," O'Connor wrote in the shocking post. "There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name. If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out."

"Was dead for another fortnight since none of them bother their hole with me for a minute," she continued. "I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known."

The controversial musician later listed specific family members she believed had betrayed her with "appalling cruelty" in the past, claiming that she "barely manages to stay alive" these days.

O'Connor's recent custody battles with her ex-husbands over children Shane Lunny, 11, and Yeshua Bonadio, 8, were also noteworthy struggles included in her post.

On Friday, O'Connor blasted her first suspicious post, sharing with followers that she was "desperately in need of a job and a place to live."

Of course, this isn't the first time O'Connor has sounded the alarm. In 2011, police stopped by her residence after she sent out a number of suicidal tweets.
