The stars of 19 Kids & Counting have been outspoken in their criticism of gays, Catholics, and those who are pro-choice. And with so many potential enemies, the stars of 19 Kids And Counting are taking no chances when it comes to protecting their growing clan: Adding another layer of home security to their extensive gun collection, the family has now acquired a decoy police car, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The family is known to have connections to local law enforcement: John David, 25, is a volunteer peacekeeper for the Tontitown police department, and family patriarch Jim-Bob is in tight with the force as well. The police car, most likely purchased by Jim-Bob at auction, sits overlooking the family's 20 acre property, immediately greeting visitors at the front gate of their Tontitown, Arkansas estate.
"It certainly gets your attention, if that was the intention," an eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
"Anyone who watches the show knows the Duggar family has guns in the house," the source continues. "So the cop car is more like a not-so-subtle warning."
The family installed fencing around their property several years back after an uptick in visits from fans following the success of the show.
