Teresa Giudice has been forced to make changes in her life since she was sentenced to prison for fraud, but her latest move is the most heartbreaking yet: RadarOnline.com has learned that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been secretly meeting with divorce lawyers behind bars, after her husband Joe skipped visits!
A fellow inmate of Giudice's who has since been released from the Danbury Federal Corrections Institute revealed the news in a bombshell interview with Radar.
"She has had lawyers come at times," the recently released inmate, who served time with Teresa, told Radar. "After one came, they said it was a divorce lawyer."
According to the insider, Teresa has good reason for pulling the plug on her marriage: Joe's visits to his struggling wife have been minimal.
Although Joe claimed in an interview with Extra that he visits the incarcerated reality star every weekend with his daughters Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5, the insider insisted that he hasn't been seeing his wife that much.
The source explained of the visiting process, "It's 12 points a month. For each visit on a weekend it is two points. Joe claims he can do 12 visits in a month. No, he can't."
"He doesn't even know the system because he hasn't been there," the insider added. "Her mother comes with the kids more than he does."
The couple's falling out doesn't come as a surprise for fans, as Joe reportedly cheated on his wife with model Jamie Jackson during an Atlantic City rendezvous in November.
But rather than crumbling in the face of her husband's infidelity and their impending divorce, the Bravo star has remained strong.
"I haven't seen her cry," the source shared. "I've seen her upset a little bit, but not really breaking down or anything like that."
