From Tragedy To Triumph: Anna Shannon & Husband Michael Ready For New Baby In 2015!
In 2014, Anna Shannon Cardwell’s mother betrayed her— and in a courageous move, she revealed herself as a victim of childhood sexual abuse. But the 20-year-old former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star is ready to make this year her happiest yet.
The married mom of Kaitlyn, 2, exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that she and husband Michael are ready for baby #2.
“We are planning to start trying around Michael’s birthday,” Anna says, adding that her husband of nearly one year turns 22 on March 12. “We’re definitely talking about it.”
The baby talk comes after she and her young family gained some much-needed stability in recent weeks. Following reports her mother Mama June Shannon, 35, was dating her ex Mark McDaniel, 53— the man who was convicted of repeatedly molesting her then 8-year-old daughter in 2002— Anna became estranged from the disgraced reality matriarch. (Mama denied dating McDaniel, claiming she only saw him twice since his 2014 release from prison.) But on Christmas, Anna forgave Mama, who gave her a $15,000 check as a peace offering.

“We are paying all our bills and Kaitlyn is getting whatever she wants,” Anna, who once claimed to be broke, boasts of her healthy finances. (She is also making ends meet by endorsing products on social media.)
And Anna won’t just stop at one brother or sister for Kaitlyn.
“We want two more kids,” she recently told Radar. “I really want a little boy. I know I’m ready for more!”
