America's Got Talent star Kevin Skinner has fallen on hard times.
RadarOnline.com can reveal that the country singer, who won the 4th season of the NBC competition show in 2009, was reported missing by family after he texted that he had fallen near his Graves County, Kentucky, home. When officers could not locate the 40-year-old father of two, Kentucky State Police promptly issued a Golden Alert on November 2.
A Kentucky State Police spokesperson confirms to Radar that the missing musician has since been located, and is receiving a medical evaluation.
A family friend exclusively tells Radar that Skinner has been suffering from mental illness.
"He has been depressed for quite some time," the insider claims. "His wife left him right after he wonAmerica's Got Talent. He is so talented and bright. It's just so sad."
After receiving $1 million from his reality TV win, Skinner released his debut album,Long Ride, in March 2010. However, the record failed to impress critics and did not chart on the Billboard 200.
